Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

In short: Your contraction records stay on your phone. No account, no ads, no analytics, no location. Only if you start live sharing are your records sent to the server under an anonymous session ID, visible only to people you give the link to. You can close the link at any time.

1. Data controller

The ContractionTimer app and this website are operated by: ALYESA LTD. Contact: hello@contractiontimer.co

2. What data do we process?

The app contains no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, no cookies and no user accounts.

3. Health data and explicit consent

Contraction records are sensitive health data. They are sent to the server only through your explicit, active action (starting live sharing), which constitutes your explicit consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by closing the link in the app.

4. Where is the data processed?

Live sharing and this website are hosted on Google Firebase (Google LLC, USA). Data is transferred to the USA; Google acts as a data processor under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). Details: Firebase Privacy.

5. Who can see your shared link?

The live-sharing link is a random, unguessable address. Only the people you send it to can know it, and the page shows your records without any identity information. You can close the link or create a new one at any time; once closed, the page can no longer be accessed.

6. Retention and deletion

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent. Most of these you can exercise directly in the app (deletion, closing the share). For requests: hello@contractiontimer.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Important note

ContractionTimer is not a medical device. It does not diagnose and does not make decisions. It only counts and displays the records you enter. For anything concerning your health, contact your doctor or midwife.

9. Changes

If this policy is updated, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date above.
